The 21 Day Flip – Under Construction
On the second day of the flip we finished the demo and overloaded the dumpster. We elected to do the demo ourselves – partly because its fun, and partly because it saved us money that we could put into upgrades.

Days 2 and 3 are the days we start to organize the tradesman to meet us at the property and provide quotes. We met with some awesome folks – some we have worked with before and several new ones. Since the budget is tight we need to find folks who will do great work, on a very tight timeframe, and give us a deal on the grounds that we will be giving them future business for all of our future flips!
As the day goes on, I’m sorting out bids, confirming contractors and getting our project plan finalized – not to mention tearing out some tile, pulling up carpet, scraping old linoleum flooring and dragging all the junk to the dumpster.
Its still early, but we are looking like we will be under budget – high five to us!!
