Whew – back on track after a drama filled week last week! We fired one paint crew and now have with a new awesome crew who is correcting the previous issues and making the house look great! Here are a few pics of the progress. There is no room complete yet, but we will post some pics soon to showcase the historical colors.
We also had concrete poured for the front walk. Landscaping will soften these hard lines when we get to that project next weekend. We were glad to give all the granite tiles to a local family. Took them 6 trips to load them all in the truck of their car to get them all home! That was one happy lady! We also gave away the left over furniture that the previous owner left in the house and we donated our left over lumber to another family in need – glad to help out some of the amazing folks in Taylor TX.
We have had lots of little helping hands on this project! Our kids are getting more and more interested in learning the skills it takes to flip a house. I guess that some kids grow up on farms and know how to milk a cow and plant corn. Our kids and their friends are being raised remodeling houses. Each of them is learning the value of hard work, and the pride that comes from seeing what they can do!
